To put it very plainly, we WON!  [It was a little hard for us to believe in the beginning too.] The Daily Reporter has written an article on Lilly's choice to drop their appeal.  "Lilly withdraws appeal of road closing decision" should be available now free over at www.greenfieldreporter.com for the next few months.  We also have some comments covering the recent events available on www.SaveTheRoad.com.

There are so many people to thank for all of their contributions.  United together we have given eachother a very special and rare gift - ownership in a very significant success of our community.  While we hope our Roads are never threatened again, we would welcome the opportunity to once again focus our energies towards the benefit of our wonderful community.

*** THE ROAD AHEAD ***

It is most certain Lilly will remain interested in the Roads.  Your awareness and vigilent watch of the Roads and the topics surrounding them will be the the most effective weapon in your arsenal to keep Lilly's interest as tamed as possible. Participation in your local politics will also be necesary to the long-term preservation of the Roads.  But most importantly, provide the Roads with frequent company - drive them often.  You've earned it!
